The next morning, Jenée takes a stroll back to the old town to buy some things for our trip north. These are shots from her iPhone.
It's a nice sunny morning.
A view of the harbor and fort.
Looking down the long walk up.
Nice colors today.
And calmer seas.
Getting closer to the fort and the old town.
A look back down.
A look up. Almost there.
Going in the fortress doors. Check out the levers on each side.
Looking back out. It's tough to see, but the original mechanism (iron gears) for lifting the draw bridge up or down are still in place, up top of the photo.
Spying the alleyways.
And the restaurant where we almost had dinner.
A self portrait of enjoying a cappuccino In a cafe with a view.
Back aboard Jungle, we are pulling out of Bonafacio.
What a beautiful town.
This was another restaurant recommended to us.
A view of the fort.
And the passage out.
A look back up.
And out to sea.
Au revoir Bonafacio. Merci.

Sorry, have not been posting for some time. Busy, I guess. Nice to see you are still safely sailing on.
Nice photo's and comments, as usual.
Cheers.
