Pardon me, but I'm going to bitch a bit. We were finally excited about a downwind sail back to Kos as the wind always blows north to south. Im bragging on Jungle's downwind perferformance, blah, blah, blah. Except for $&@(//?&@ today. Wind is hard in our face, from the south for a nice, bumpy ride. Monica and Mike are saying, "hey sailor boy, can you make this ride a little shittier, perfect, didn't think you had it in you". So I find this little fishing harbor on Kos and in we go.
It was blowing hard so ducking inside a nearby harbor worked. Nice to have a harbor all to yourself.
This is the harbor fishing fleet - gotta love it. Jungle sitting pretty.
The harbor is a bit shallow so Mike and I putter around to test the depths for swing room on the anchor. We're good.
We take a swim and a shower outside. Jenée says to me, no need for a picture. Oh, I beg to differ darling.
My heart goes out to the family. Such a nice kid, tough break on the looks.
Monica and Mike debate the latest technology in cameras. Whatever side you come down on, Monica is right.
Hey Mikey, is that the last ..., never mind.
We go to the only Taverna in the area (only building in the area - we're on a remote part of Kos), and Mike treats us to this dish. Calamari, shrimp, mussels, octopus, all prepared to perfection. Nice light red wine to go with it. We go with the Greek table wines wherever we go and they're very good and cheap.
Another happy meal without the golden arches.
Next to the harbor and taverna is this little cove.
Windy, but nice.
We are all happy with this location.
